Who we are

Dubs On The Run is a Volkswagen (VW) club that was born out of a shared love and enthusiasm for these iconic cars and campervans. Established in 2022 by a group of friends, our club is more than just a gathering of VW owners; it’s a community built on friendship, passion, and a genuine appreciation for all things VW. We pride ourselves in listening to our members and our club has grown by working together as a community.

What we do

As a club that revolves around the love for VWs, we organize an exciting array of events and activities throughout the year. From campout trips to festival club camping, and everything in between – there’s always something happening at Dubs On The Run. Our events are carefully curated to cater to the diverse interests and preferences of our members, making every experience both enjoyable and enriching.

Where are we based

Our group is based throughout the UK and Ireland and we all met at various festivals or through different clubs, so our events are often based throughout the UK.
After all the main purpose of owning a van is to travel and see new places.
At the time of writing this we have 2 admins, one is based in Weston-Super-Mare and the other is in Chester.
We also have club contributors, who are dotted across the UK.

Our Goals

The website was launched in 2024 with the aim to create a platform to organise events.
While 2024 might be a bit light on events while we are still working behind the scenes, we expect 2025 to be the beginning of something big.

What we do

We run this club out of our passion for the scene. We all have busy lives and sometimes it’s just nice to get away and disconnect from it all. Our club is run by volunteers who all have day jobs and give up their spare time to run this club.

Bringing people together to enjoy great times and memory’s to last a lifetime. What’s not to love about visiting new places and having a drink around a firepit with great friends.

Member benefits As we grow, we want to start working with reputable companies to offer our members discounts. Discounts codes and details will be listed under the members section for logged in members.

Family & pet friendly Many of us have children and dogs and our events are for everyone. If an event such as festival club camping isn’t suitable for pets we will do our best to make it clear.

Helping others The Dubs On The Run club isn’t profit driven, we invest any money back into the club, as we do have costs to cover and want to see the club grow. Any surplus money will go to charity and we plan on organising some events to raise money specifically for charities close to our hearts in the near future.
